“ArtisticMinds: Promoting inclusivity and accessibility of the Culture & Creative Sector through digital and social innovation”.
The programme is co-financed by the European Union, within the framework of Creative Europe. It started in January 2025 and has a duration of 26 months.
The main objective of the programme is to empower young artists with intellectual and/or mental challenges and to ensure their access, participation and inclusion in culture, first as creators and performers (professionals and amateurs) and then as audiences. This will strengthen growth, innovation and competitiveness.
The ArtisticMinds program aims to:
-
upgrade the cultural and creative sector through digitalization and the transition to a more sustainable, accessible and inclusive field,
-
to harness the power of art and culture to enhance the inclusion and mental well-being of disadvantaged young artists with intellectual disabilities, thereby enhancing their personal development, community participation, skills development and career path,
-
to create opportunities for young artists with disabilities to develop in the cultural and creative space, ensuring equal rights and opportunities with their peers.
