3.2 The aims of the Residence Halls
The Residence Halls are more than just a place to stay. They also provide training. Through the daily care their personal hygiene, their room and house, shopping and cooking, outings and various other leisure activities, residents are prepared to the greatest possible extent for their independence. Independent living is the main aim of the training programme at the Residence Halls and is a prerequisite for the transfer of residents to other more self-reliant kinds of accommodation, such as the Intergrated Group-Homes built by the Association of Friends of the Foundation at Latsia village.
